    Another newbie question
This is my first breeding season and I have a quick question. My girl ovulated 5/31. This means day 45 is like July 14th. However she just shed today and from what I read that means about 27 days which would be July 19th. So which is gonna be closer?

The shed. Listen numbers are all estimates. They aren't always gonna be a certain number. If she hasn't payed in a month, then you should worry. But let her do her thing. Get the incubator warm

When I record ovies and pre-lays it gives me an idea on when to start checking on eggs more than anything else.

The average is 45 days between and egg or 15 days between ovy and pre-lay and 30 days between pre-lay and egg laying.

Again average not something precise in many intences it can take longer usually the majority of my females lay 55 to 60 days after ovy but I have some laying even later than that.

So with your record you too will know when to start checking for eggs.
