So I have a BP at the moment and i want to get another snake but I have no idea what to get. I have room for anything up to around 8ft long, and I dont really want an arboreal species apart from that Im open to any. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Good ole fashion Corn Snake! They have some wicked designer colors, and are a nice active snake in comparison to a BP. I love my corn. She's quite the character. Always comes out when I walk into the room, telling me how much she's starving away in there

I think bloods are sweet so I will have to agree with jinx on this one and say blood python. What is your budget for the new snake?

Or a Dumerils boa! Yeah those are nice too!

I dont know what that is.... But Dums and normal bloods arent too pricey so they are probably in your price range! :gj:

They also aren't long snakes, but they get BIG. Something to keep in mind for sure. Myself, I don't think I would enjoy handling such a large, bulky animal. I love BPs and how thick they are. Bloods are gorgeous too, but I think they definitely are a snake to be 100% sure of! Haha

Boa's are awesome. There is all sorts of them, and they have the neatest personality. Males will typically stay smaller.

I do like Blood Pythons but it looks like they are abit outside of my price range as they are quite expensive in the UK

I was thinking of getting a boa constrictor as I really like them but I just wouldn't have the space for one if it got over 8ft
