    What Kind of Gecko?
    Just got two of these today they called them day geckos but after searching that is not what they look like.

    That is a Golden gecko. The are similar in appearance to day geckos, but are a different species. Insectivorous primarily if memory serves me. Care is comparable to a day gecko, with a few differences. Definitely not a day gecko. But it is a very intriguing species and diurnal so they should be pretty active during the day. Very nice specimen you have. Can we see pics of the other one as well?

    This is the female, the male is pretty aggressive, and his teeth hurt.

    Yeah, they can deliver quite a bite. Like Day geckos, Goldens do not generally appreciate handling. They are more of a look-don't-touch gecko. And their skin is somewhat fragile and will tear easily. But they make great display animals! Their gold colors really pop as they get older. These two are very pretty and they look like their colors will be pretty spectacular as they grow up! :gj:
