    Is it bad?
is it bad that my ball cant curl up into a ball?
since ive had him he has never went into a ball like i see other peoples snakes go into perfect balls mine just has his body open and tooks his head under his body
its like he cant get into one?

hes healthy he eats and stuff but even when i touch his head he just doesnt do it lol

    hes about 9 weeks old

here is what he looks like, sometimes he doesnt curl up his body he just puts his head under his neck/body area lol:

Maybe he is trying to cool off?? (stretching out to lose more heat) What are your temps at? Or maybe he's just odd

I have many that never go into a ball. It's not likely "he can't", but rather "doesn't want to".

I wouldn't be concerned if his mobility looks fine otherwise, and is eating and appears healthy.

Probably nothing to worry about. Curling into a ball is just a defense mechanism, they don't have to do it.

A lot of my snakes just wad up and look nothing like a ball so I dont think you have anything to worry about...

None of mine have ever "balled" up, nothing to worry about. The only down side is you don't get to get those cool looking "balled" up photos like everyone else.

Nothing wrong with him. The "tight" balls you see are usually scared bps. He's fine :)

Thats kinda a good thing. It means that hes comfortable enough with you to not go into complete defensive mode even when you poke him in the head lol.
