How many years before a hoggie can breed?
Hi all, I'm new here and planning to get a hoggie. I have loved hogs instantly the moment I saw them. I was just wondering, how long would it be before you can breed a hoggie if it is around 3-4 months since hatch at the moment? Is it the same for both genders or are males able to breed sooner than females?

    Thank you! :D

Males will breed under a year old, I had locks with mine at 55g. Others have reported successful clutches as low as 40g, but I don't know the age on them.

18 month 150g females have produced clutches.

That said, you will get more breeding activity from snakes that are over 2 years old and a bit bigger. *can* breed and "likely to get a clutch from" are definitely different.

Currently my male is 70g or so and locking up with my 400-500g female regularly.
