    Is this a Sentinel?
I'm looking into do a trade with someone and he has this sentinel male, but these guys are so close to being 'normal' and there is so little information out there that I'm having a hard time figuring out the difference between a nice dinker normal and a sentinel. I can pick out stuff that's not 'normal', but I don't know if that means sentinel.

    What do you think?

Looks like it could be...why don't you try to get in touch with Ben Siegel? He'd know best what to look for.

Papers are only as good as the person writing them though and don't prove genetics. And what if the paper is from a small breeder that you've never heard of before?

Lots and lots of people believed the "paper" from a "reputable" seller back in the early 2000's. The company was Top Shelf Exotics, and the owner was very active in the ball python community, very well respected. He ran his scam with "proper" paperwork of a genetic guarantee for several years until those baby "hets" were now adults and none were proving out.

Here's the thread where he was finally exposed as a scammer: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...=Chris+Johnson

Don't know enough about Sentinel myself to help you out, unfortunately!
