Two New Additions + Need a Corn Morph ID
While I was out of town this weekend my boyfriend surprised me with two new additions he picked up while I was away! He found these guys from a local lady who wasn't completely clueless (had a rack, bred mice as feeders, had breeding plans) but had to get rid of her snakes due to personal issues. Only $35 each, I think that's a steal for these guys!

Even though he gave me first choice on which I wanted I let him choose the one he was more partial to, so here's his little butter motley female! Very cute little girl, and she's a lot more chill than my own little wiggly snow corn female (though she didn't like taking pics when these were shot):

And here's my girl, an adult female (posted a photo of her tail to see if you guys think she's a girl too; yes I know it's not accurate but I don't have a probe kit and she's just to be a pet right now anyway so sex isn't that big of a deal. Her short, very tapered tail leads me to think 0.1 though).

Also, I'd like some feedback on what morph you guys believe her to be: my bf said that the lady mentioned her being an amel and even though I thought that at first her lack of white and almost solid red belly makes me believe she may be a fire....any thoughts?

But she's super laid back, and both look really good. They're both in QT though just to be safe of course.

    Here's Mona:

Your Butter Motley female is gorgeous. :) I am not 100% sure on Mona's morph, but if I had to make a guess, I'd go with a Sunglow Amel. She looks very similar to the Sunglow adult here: Sunglow Corn. Anyway, they are both lovely and I think you made a killer deal at only $35 each. Congrats on the pickups! I wish my hubby would buy me snakes when I was away.

If I were you I would ask the person you got them from if they had ever been bred. The adult female looks like she could possibly be gravid (look at the bumps on the bottom of her) and even if she already laid this year, they often double clutch.

I thought the same thing when I saw the pictures. Looks just like my blizzard did before dropping her first clutch.

I'll call her and ask, it didn't sound like she had paired anyone this year but you never know.

Well I hope she doesn't drop, not too prepared for unexpected eggs right now! But if I get some "surprises" from her I'm sure I'll be coming here for advice lol Maybe I'll post some more tail pics of her here soon at different angles.
