Baby ball started on frozen - will switching to live be a problem?
We bought a hatchling ball python, itty bitty thing, and were told it eats f/t. We aren't feeding our snakes f/t because we are breeding mice for feeders and I don't have the funds to set up a CO2 box like I've seen posted here.

My question is, will we have an issue once the snake chills out and is relatively comfortable feeding it live over f/t? Will instinct kick in and tell it what to do, or are we going to have issues?

    Thanks :)

Not at all, it is hard to switch from live to frozen but not the other way.

Thanks, that's what I thought but I wanted to be sure.

Oh yeah they will definitely eat live. I am still converting some of my guys to f/t and its a bit of a pain but the ones who eat f/t will eat live everytime if I offered which I rarely do cuz I dont want to get em stuck on it! :)
