Het pied Het albino

I have the chance to pick up this guy for $30. He is 66% het pied het albino. The breeder says he will also have two females that are 100% het pied het albino for $80 for two in the middle of July. Seems pretty cheap to me but he has a good rep in my area and for $110 seems to be an insane deal even if they are just het pied or albino. I do have a 100% het albino female and an albino male to prove them out if I need to, although nothing to prove out the pied. These are the pictures I received from the breeder he says the male is 80 grams. What do you think of the het pied markers? He also seems to have a lot of white around his brown like my het albino does but he doesn't seem as "clean" and bright as she is.

That's extremely cheap for double het females.

i know lots of breeders that sell there hets and possibles out as normals. unless they are hets that are worth something. but het for pieds and het albinos usually get sold off cheap anymore. now if they are 100% double het they would sell for more imho but you never know

$110 for three snakes with those possible genetics? I'd risk it, if you can afford to. If nothing else you're gaining two normal females to raise up as breeders and a male to...ummm...welllllll...use as a normal breeder for your co-dom and dom females? :rolleyes: I know, I know! I'd say go for it.

Oh yeah so would I but I love big normal females and you can never have too many so if they are a bust they will be useful for other breeding projects.

You know what they say about a deal that is too good to be true?

100% Het Pied female alone is about $150.

DH Pied Albino just like any DH is not something that you are gonna find for less than $100

Now the price you paid for the poss is in range a lot of breeder sell poss het for normal price (I know I do)

We picked up the little guy tonight for $30 we figured it was worth the shot. Here are some cell phone pics of him, in two weeks I should be able to get down there and able to get some pictures with the good camera. But in the meantime, this is Madoc.

Very cheap.....just to give you an idea of current pricing....for just the single het....double het, is significantly more.

True, but these are POSS hets, not guaranteed hets. Many people don't price poss hets much higher than normals, because most folks aren't willing to pay more for a possibility.

I like his markers, and I'd say you've got a better than even chance based on the markers. :)
