    Monitor Tail regeneration
I have only owned one Monitor, a V. A. ionidesi. After exhausting the resources I can find, I have a question that I am sure several of you have the answer to.
My V. A. Ionidesi has lost about an inch off the tip of his tail from tail whipping, which he only does rarely I might add. Do monitors regenerate lost tails or tail sections?
    Thanks for your help.

My blackthroat never has regenerated the tip of her tail. Lost it the same way, tail whipped something hard I guess.

No, monitors do not regenerate lost parts of their tails.
