    Yay, Weight Gain!
I just weighed my baby BP since tomorrow is feeding day and I'm glad to report that he's gained weight! :D :D :D *does happy dance*

He's pretty skinny so I am understandably anxious to put some weight on him and I'm happy about his progress. :)

I last weighed him on Tuesday, the 12th, and he weighed 46 grams. Today, the 17th, he weighs 53 grams. :gj: Woot!

Anyways, just thought I'd share. :P

Ps- this kind of proves that the pet store wasn't feeding them enough because I've only had him for 2 weeks and he's already gained.

He is very small, so cute! I think he's only a couple months old. :)
It amazes me every time I take him out to think about how big he's going to get compared to how small he is now.

I was holding him yesterday and I noticed he has what looks like some stuck shed in the middle of his eyes... is this possible? I know they can retain their eye caps but his it just looks like a scale or two right in the middle. If it is what should I do about it?? He hasn't shed with me yet.

Definitely leave the eye alone. If there is something stuck there then it should come off in the next shed (assuming it is a full shed). I actually had an eye that was dimpled and crumpled once, with no retained eye cap, but after the next shed the eye was back to normal. No idea what caused it but it isn't hurting anything.

Did the little guy eat in between the two weigh-ins? If so, and he hasn't defecated yet, that may be where some of the weight came from. Either way, some weight will be retained after defecation, and with every meal he should put on more and more weight. Congrats!

Yes he did eat but he ate the day after the first weigh in. I figured some of the weight could be that he hasn't done his business yet but there is still weight gain there. :) Very happy!

Oh, and thanks for the advice about his eyes!
