Hard time shedding, or just a panicky owner?
So sam is shedding...in the sense that right now, he is in his tank and rubbing all over everything and his old skin is coming off. however, he seems to be having a very hard time of it. or maybe not. how long does this process normally take?

also, i noticed that so far, he has a good 1/3 of his belly shed already, yet he hasn't gotten the very top of his head off yet. would this be considered an incomplete shed? if it is....i don't know why. his humidity has been 75% ever since i noticed his belly getting pink.

or am i just nervous and impatient? (i haven't got to hold him in almost 2 weeks :( )

Some times it will only take a few minutes, some times it will take a couple of hours. The top of the head is also my snake's trouble spot, but the rest comes off fine. Just wait it out. If there is any stuck shed, run him through a wet towel to get it off.
