    my ball python is making a slight whistle.
    she is going through shed can this be the cause or is it def an upper resp infection?

    If it's a whistle it can easily be loose/stuck shed in the nose. Keep an eye out for any other symptoms but I definitely would not jump to an RI.

    One of mine whistles every time she gets ready to shed. Maybe the skin on her nose loosens up first or something like that. After she sheds it quits.
