How to tell when a BP is going to poo?
Someone said they don't hold their BP if it looks like it's going to poo, but how can you tell?

You really can't. The only way I can think of is to look if the end towards the tail is slightly larger and kinked. BPs really only poop consistently right after shedding.

it is called sausage butt, if the rear looked like a sausage about to explode chances are soon it will. my mojave spiders like soaking their rear ends in their water just before, other then that it is all a gamble from there.

Yup, mostly a gamble. But I can usually see sausage butt, and will leave them be, and presto! Poopy tub in the morning.

All I know is there is usually a surprise for me in one of his hides after he finishes shedding.

I've noticed that above the cloaeca it is slightly red when feces is stored, and brightens as it gathers. Man, I may have been the first to discover something. YAY!!!! :)
