    More flexwatt questions
On a recent thread I asked if flex watt can be applied with aluminum tape both under it (on the rack shelf) and on top of it.

One response said I can place alum tape under, but only cover the edges on the top.

I saw a JK reptile you tube, that said you can cover the entire top, which is what I am wanting to do to protect from tub slides.

I'd appreciate more opinions, on what the real deal is.

    Thanks

I had aluminum foil tape on the underside of my flexwatt and I noticed a buzzing sound when I had the probe of my herpstat taped to the flexwatt. I no longer have aluminum tape under the flexwatt.

there really isnt any reason to cover the entire top surface of it.;)

I layer the foil tape that is holding it down with 3 or 4 sacrificial layers:gj:
Tape can be replaced as it wears down and the flex-a-watt doesnt get rubbed.
I have yet to have to replace any of my foil tape, going on 18 months and atleast one removal and install of a tub per day.
