Keeping My Mouth Shut! Mad They Strike again!

OK, so here is why I need to keep my mouth shut! Recently I received a new purchase from a bigger breeder & very well known person. Let me start by saying up until I got my FedEx package I was happy with this seller. The box arrived unmarked, brown standard shipping box. No insulation panels. No cushioning no Receipt, just a plain snake in a used Bag (because the bag had been relabeled from the original snake crossed out and added with different color sharpie). The snake even seemed to be upset, guessing from being shifted from one side of the box to the other. The box was huge by the way something around 24x24x16 for a Juvie Ball python. I will not bring any names into the because from what I have seen over the years are people always bashing the OP and I do not want to hear it. I don't care how great he was to you or you never had an issue. I am telling you that I DID! I felt that he knew he would be able to send it like he did because if I said anything his name would speak for himself! BTW I did my research and he was highly recommended. I have bought and should hundreds of snakes and would never do what I got. Also it was not a cheap snake. Thousands paid and packaged as if it was heat tape. Garbage!!!! OK I feel better. Please do not ask for a name I am venting. :taz: Thanks for reading.

well now you are going to get flamed. not for the rant but for the rant without naming the seller.

oh...and in my experience, most of the really big breeders have help to pack and ship. have you made the seller aware that you are unhappy? what did he/she say?

Gonna have to agree with this...if you're gonna put the info out there in matters like this, put it all out...otherwise it's best kept to yourself.

I think it would be beneficial to share who you are talking about to prevent other people from going through the same thing. Your snake arrived okay despite the conditions, but someone else might not be so lucky.

Just my opinion. I don't think anyone's going to flame you so long as you are telling the truth.

Keeping back the sellers name and not putting this on the BOI and the inquiry section of this site is doing a disservice to future customers of this breeder/seller.

Everything you've said would put me squarely on your side, I'm pretty sure you would have wanted to know this information before hand if given that chance.

Again I am choosing not to voice their name. My choice, flame all you want. Been in this hobby way to long to know nothing good comes from calling people out. I just was venting. Not looking for your approvals. NO the BOI is great but there are little cliches that all back each other up and it becomes so cluttered with others voicing there garbage it takes away from the post. I am not asking for money back or any other compensation. Yes they have help ,but I do believe they are trained how to properly ship snakes. Still should be making sure the quality of shipments as its His name on the line. I made him aware of how I felt! I was polite and I informed him I will not repeat business with him. THIS WILL BE MY ONLY RESPONSE I POSTED HERE TO VENT. That is all! If you dislike that fact Oh well. Thank you and yes the snake is alive and in QT.

maybe you have been in the hobby a long time but obviously not on the forum for very long, because then you would know that throwing up a post like this only hurts your reputation.

well if youre not going to name the seller then there was absolutely no point to post this thread imo... I really hope i dont make the mistake of buying from him. Please PM his name if you want, i really would like to know so i am careful doing business with him.
