The ups and downs of snakes... (slight rant)
I have just had one of the most rewarding and frustrating weekends with my lovely snakes...
For starters, I had to go to St. Louis for a funeral which meant I would be out of town from Thursday night to today. With the short notice, I ended up not being able to get anyone to check on the snakes. However, I took my albino ball with me to see how she did with travel/stress since she's going to be used in the educational programs I do. The good news is that Aria handled the trip and handling like an old pro. The bad news is I came home to my corn laying on 15 eggs... All but one were either hardening and sunken in (guessing she laid them a couple days ago). They all were good when laid but I've put the remaining good one (it was on the bottom of the lay box with enough moisture and warmth to keep it good) in the incubator. We'll see what happens... On the up side, my girl had decided eating is great which makes me happy since she resembles a refugee atm.

Sorry for the rant, but it was post it here or on Facebook. My family thinks I'm weird enough after this weekend so here is where it ended up.

Wow...sorry to hear about the eggs man. That stinks. :( It's great that your albino girl travels well though. I really hope that one remaining good egg hatches out a healthy baby for ya!:gj:

Thanks. It's nothing special since mom is normal het. anery and amel while dad is a blizzard (amel and charcoal) but I still like seeing the babies hatch out. I get normals and amels every year. Think if it makes it though, it's getting nicknamed 'Miracle'. Corns are pretty hardy so we'll see...
