Suitable Humidity levels!

1. Is 90+ Humidity suitable for shedding only?
2. What do you keep your humidity levels at when your ball is shedding?
3. What do you do to aid your ball python in shedding

1) The general consensus is anything over 70%.
2) 75%-80
3) I don't aide my snakes other than keeping humidity levels up. They shed fine on their own. And if one ever has a bad shed(hasn't happened yet), I would still do nothing and just raise the humidity and wait for them to shed fully during the next cycle.

I'm not 100% sure but I think if it's that high all the time it could cause scale rot. Maybe that's only if they are sitting in water though...

i have my humidty about 75-85% but i was just woundering about 90 because i just cleaned out the cage and i risen it to 90% for about 15 minutes but its now around 84%

I have always been told that it really doesn't matter how high the humidity number is reading just as long as there is no condensation on the walls of the tub/enclosure. You don't want wetness.

I keep my around 60% for everyday humidity and then boost it up to 70% for shedding.
