New to Ball Pythons

So I am new to keeping BP's, that being said I just picked up my first BP. A hatchling normal morph and a great starter as I am told. I have done research and I keep other snakes as well. I know that they are for the most part one of the easiest herps to care for. So knowing all this, are there any tips/tricks I should be aware of? Any help is much appreciated.

P.s. My BP names Hurcules.

Well the hardest part of owning a ball python is getting them to consistently eat for you. To do this you will need to make sure that your husbandry is spot on and you avoid anything that can stress out your new snake.

What type/size cage are you using? and what are you heating the cage with?

It really depends on what kind of tips you're looking for. There are different tips for different things. (i.e. husbandry, care, shed cycle, feeding, etc etc)

I'm also the owner of my first BP and the links that SM posted were a huge help. The info also helped us with our corn snake. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything that people have suggested so far has helped us out a lot in getting our rescued BP less stressed.

If he wont eat one trick is dipping the food in chicken broth :)
