    The real story is the bear like to play with rocks and this was an accident. But some people are silly enough to think he did it on purpose to try to get out.

    Wow, when I was at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, it had a little piece of the glass to show how thick it was and if I remember correctly, it was only 3-4 inches thick, kind of thin to be holding back Black Bears & Polar Bears.

    Yeeeeah... less afraid of the bear in that moment than the tons and tons of water that would come crashing down if that thing busted completely. Think of the hassle to get it repaired, too.

    Think of the hassle of removing yourself from the maw of a polar bear and your fear may get redirected! :)
