    This isn't new news but I had not seen it previously. How AWESOME! A single species that practices both types of brithing methods (eggs and live birth). Too cool not to share IMO. I hope you like!

    Right!? She would seem to me to be pretty immobile while swollen with those babies, making her more succeptible to predation, which would make me think that there would be selective pressures, at least in that regard, AGAINST the evolution of live birth. What do I know though, as clearly the evidence doesn't agree with me!
