Can anyone ID this snake for me? (not a BP lol)
So I "liked" "The Reptile Report" on Facebook a while back and checkout most of the articles they post. A few nights ago they posted a link to a thread on a Field Herping forum. There were a ton of really cool pictures on that thread but one in particular caught my eye. Can anyone tell me what type of snake this is and what morph of said snake?

Thanks

I was going to say milksnake as well, but I wouldn't have thought Eastern. I didn't realize the juvi was so red. I have caught a few of these when I lived in Michigan. Although they were all in the 2 to 3 foot range (not juvi) so maybe that is why, but the color of the saddles was much more of a chocalate brown. No real red tone.

Too bad they don't stay like that. They seem to "brown out" as adults. Very dissapointing.
