Something is wrong with heat tape

I went up stairs to my snake room and few times a week i put my hand on the heat tap in my rack to make sure its still working, well today roll 1 and 2 are good but when i went to roll 3 the heat tape made my hand tingle but roll 4 nothing. What is going on?

How are they wired? Power strip, ext cord, series, series- parallel, etc?

Sounds like roll 3 is shorting and roll 4 isn't getting power.

Check all connections and see if anything came loose.

Roll 3 is damaged somehow. If the connections are good then something else is wrong and it should be replaced.

Everything looks normal the tape has been working great for 3 years and i looked at all the connections and they are all still looking good. Im happy have 8ft of tape just setting around lol guess its time to solder.

^ agree or your losing your connectivity in your connections or even in the wire itself. If you have a multimeter i would check voltage at each connection till you find out where you're starting to lose the juice.
