    *HELP* Quick question...
Ok so my GF's snake has always had his butt area a little different, like it sticks out...here's a pic...

It's always like that, we have been told that it was because he was young but my other young snakes don't have that. Is this a bit too abnormal?? I should also mention that he is one of my best feeders, he is a pig so it doesn't seem to bother him.

That's a new one to me, but it definitely isn't due to his age.

Hmmm, I'm not sure either. Did he just poop and if so maybe that could have irritated it if it was a large movement?

Nope, he has just always been like that. But sometimes he seems normal but i can count those times with one hand. It also really doesn't seem to affect him, i just don't want it to be anything serious.

    Hello,

It looks fine, just quit poking around in there.

You may want to consider keeping it on paper towel, to avoid the risk of a wood based substrate getting caught inside.

I adopted a male that had a prolapsed anus, and it looks nasty, but the snake was fine. Passed waste with no issues, and even bred.

    Ok that's a relief, thanks.
