    My friends Spider
My friends spider, I photographed him today for her :) She thought she was going to have to put him down because his wobble was getting severe at night, but she talked to a reptile expert she has known for a long time and trust and he said he will be fine as long as he doesn't start loosing weight or get even worse.

He's very pretty. Spiders can do fine with wobble too. As long as he can eat, I wouldn't consider putting him down. :(

No reason to put a spider down. He's gorgeous and those are some nice pics :)

As others said^^ theres no need to put a spider down bc of a wobble. In fact i dont think ive ever heard of a case where a spider had to be put down bc of a wobble...

Really nice snake and nice pics! What type of camera did you use?

    A Nikon D3000 with a 50mm 1.8 lens

She was really worried, the night before he almost drowned himself. She was also on a other reptile forum where most people told her it was the most humane thing to do, glad you guys think differently :)

    Poor thing.

If she's that worried, get him a smaller water bowl.

I wouldn't put that pretty baby down unless he couldn't eat on his own, and it doesn't look like he has that problem.

Great shots, especially that last one! :gj:

My spider's wobble is barely noticeable, but I have seen videos where it was almost unbearable to watch... or were those "spinning" snakes? Either way, I agree with the others - if he can eat on his own, and doesn't seem otherwise unhealthy, there shouldn't be any reason to euthanize.

After that happened she started keeping the water level really low and refreshes it several times a day. And he has some trouble eating since he misses a lot, but he gets it down eventually :)
