    Buying a Scale
    Hey guys!

My other scale I had for weighing my little brother's pine-wood derby cars (from Cub-Scouts) finally died on me. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cost-effective and accurate scale? It will only be used to weigh BPs.

I looked on Amazon and there are a ton of results:

Just curious as to whether anyone has scales they would recommend. Thanks in advance!

Walmart and Target often have nice Kitchen scales that weigh up to 6 pounds (I've seen a few weigh up to 10), and can be set to weigh in grams, kilos, ounces, or pounds. Look for one that weighs in 1 gram increments.

They cost maybe $20 to $30.
    I have this one: http://homecookingmemories.com/wp-co...-Cookies-1.jpg

It takes a beating. I bought it a couple of years ago, and I can't count how many times it's been dropped, had heavy things set on it, been thrown a box, etc.

Do it once and do it right. This is the one.

The scale has a detachable face so you can see the weight when you have a big tub on the scale. Can hold up to 75 pounds.

Thanks for the suggestions :). I had tried Walmart but all they had was a Biggest-Loser 10 pound $40 digital food scale that had extra features such as determing the amount of calories based on the given food input and weight. Etc. I decided to pass. Tried Fry's Electronics, Home Depot, Lowes, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target to no avail. Ordering online seems the way to go for me right now!

Wish I had seen this before I bought the other one. The one I have is the 7000dx or whatever listed above. It works well but weighing my girls is a pain trying to see around the tub. May have to buy a new scale :D
