    A math formula I suppose.
I wasn't sure what thread this would fit in, but it's related to ball python breeding somewhat. How do you count days. So, say I wanted to count 55 days without going over each day. How would I do that?

Not exactly sure if this is what you mean but, count 8 weeks and subtract 1 day. (8x7=56 56-1=55)

Stop counting at 54 days 23 hours and 59 minutes and 59 seconds?

Curious, what does 55 days have to do with ball python breeding?

Just guessing that the op is asking about 55 days for avg. incubation period.

Ya that's why. I could've said 52 days for minimum or 60 for the usual max but it was just a rough number. But what I mean is how do you figure out the specific date

There is no specific date, they are ready when they are ready.
52 days until a head pips is my normal but I have had pippers at 51 days and at 56 days and everything in between.

Go two months forward and count down 5 days ??? That's what I do, but I count back to 52 days.

So counting 2 months then going back 5 days works out as 52 days???

Count the days on your calendar out?
Or just do it by weeks, every week is obviously 7 days...

    Don
I use a date calculator on the Internet. Enter the date the eggs were laid plus 55 days.
