Is this the correct accurite that you all use?

I live in Canada, and I can't find the accurite anywhere >_>

Does not look like the ones I have, but looks like it has the same functions.

Yes, that is the model that I use. FYI, Cheney Instruments no longer makes that model. So, if you like them, and find them for sale, you might want to pick up a couple of extras...

    I know! :(

And I've went to wal-mart and looked at maybe finding something similar and I DID find one but it doesnt list humidity and the cord to the probe is ridiculously long >_>

This thermometer is not worth $50, I would see if there is anything else with similar specs.

I mean for $50 you could get a few cheap thermometers with less individual functionality and still spend less. I recently picked this up from Walmart for one of my cages. All it does is measure humidity and 1 temperature (no probe) $8 or $9

I'm sure you could find a simple probed thermometer as well and still spend under $50

I'll look, but we have no accurite products at all at our walmart.

So I would use the wireless for the cool side? And the probed thermometer for the hot side?

yes, the non probed model would tell you the cool side temperature and humidity, and probed thermometer would tell you the hot side floor temperature.

Just trying to think a little out of the box
