    Expo Angers
So I was at an expo last weekend and I was looking at some retics and a guy asked to see mine so showed him a picture. He then proceeded to tell me that I don't have a purple albino and wanted to know who sold it to me as a purple because they don't know retics. I kinda got angry and we all know how we feel when someone try's to tell us what we really have. I answered pretty cooly "Oh, just some guy named Bob Clark who's been in the business for about 26 years and one of the biggest reasons the retic business is what it is today." the look on his face was priceless! Maybe I exaggerated a little bit but It's always a great feeling to tell people off that kinda way! If you haven't seen my other thread, here's a few pics of him for a little proof lol.

He just said "oh.." and I said "yep" and I just walked away. Nothing bugs me more than ignorance!

I hate people that think they know everything: it's worse when you're at your place of work and a customer SWEARS they know more then you and argues when they're obviously wrong. Because you don't work there or anything...

Did he think yours was a lav?

    Bob Clark? Who's that? ;)

Good for you for proving him wrong. That's a gorgeous, PURPLE retic, by the way. :)

    Ugh.

This reminds me of when I used to breed cockatiels. Pet birds you know ? Well, they come in a lot of colors, much like snakes do. One of my favorites was the leusistic gene birds, solid yellow, called Lutinos.

Almost on a monthly basis I ran into someone who insisted on them being Latino cockatiels. Man that ticked me off. The birds are not from Mexico! They are from Australia, and the word is Lutino. Stands for Leusistic.
