    RI paranoia
Having gone through two RI's, now I'm paranoid about saliva, in general.

After they're done eating and yawn to realign their jaws, is it normal to see some saliva in their mouths?

I've picked up slobbery rejected food to reheat and offer again and have noticed they put out a lot of saliva when eating and am hoping that's what I'm occasionally seeing.

Sorry to be so jumpy but I have become hyper-vigilant about every little "slightly off" thing I see.

If they are eatting there is no RI. If it isn't bubbley or mucusey you don't need to worry. Hope this helps ease you.

Also it's always good to have a little worry so that you keep a better eye on things and could catch something if there ever really was a problem. You just can't worry to the point where it is stressful to you or you are taking your pets to unneeded vet visits.

It just looks like 'snake spit', as it were...:)
It's always right after they've just finished swallowing the whole critter and it's random and sporadic.

I'm just jumpy after the two RI's.
    That was nerve-wracking!

    Thanks for replying.

    ;)
