Prices?

I've been considering getting a Western Hognose to add to my snake collection because I would like to have some variety, but when I look them up online or see them at a show, the prices are all over the place. Now, I'm not a know-it-all about Hognoses so I'm not sure what prices are fair. What should I expect to pay for a young normal Western Hognose?

I have seen males go for about $50 and $75 or so for females. That is the low end.

I paid $200 for my Albino male.

Jinx, can u please refer me to where you saw male hoggies for 50 bux? I prefer local pickup so anywhere in socal would be great especially in the OC. thanks

BHB had normal males for $50, so that is not local. The local LLL here usually has them for $100, so after shipping it is a wash.

BHB had het Albinos for $75/$150, and I picked up my visual Albino male off Fauna for $200 plus shipping.

The prices are out there, you just have to look. There may be some at the San Diego show in a few weeks.

i paid 60 for my male red along time ago. sadly, he died last year. 50-60 is about what you should expect to pay for a normal male.

btw....there are 3 online for 50 right now.

They have normals for fifty.
