    Strange behavior
Hi, we rescued a common het albino boa a couple months ago. She was starved and dehydrated with stuck shed in spots. She eats like a garbage disposal, has had 1 clean shed, poops and seems up to weight and in good shape now. My concern is that she seems very uncoordinated. She does not move at all in her cage except to go straight in her hide when we put her back. When we hold her, she seems to get tangled around herself. She had her tail wrapped around her neck and was struggling to get her head out. Another time, she had her neck caught in the middle of her body and was panicking to get her head free. She does not star gaze at all I put her on her back and she tangled herself up trying to roll over. I held her by her tail and she tried half heartedly to climb up herself to my hand. I had to give her a boost. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Scott

If I'm reading your post right, I think she just may be scared of being dropped grasping anything she possibly can to insure she doesn't. Have you tried putting her on the floor and just watching her movements?

Maybe someone else will chime in.
