water snake i spotted in some talk grass along a pond shoreline while i was fishing with my daughter. its a bad pic but i quick snagged it with my phone before it took off into the water on me.

and here is a pretty good sized snapper(about a foot or so across)

Very cool... Not a bad size snapper at all.

I like seeing the big snappers as long as they aren't under the boat getting a free smallmouth meal off my stringer! ;)

thanks, there were two water snakes but i couldnt get the other one before the slipped away. I need to take a day soon and just go 'snaking'
