About how long are females gravid before ovulation. To my knowledge it's a month. Does anyone know diffrent or is that about right?

You have it a bit backward here, female are gravid once they have ovulated.
Ovy to pre-lay shed 14 days
Pre-lay to egg laying 27 to 35 days
Of course those are average but it give you a good idea on when you should get ready to get eggs.

Well thanks I just figured they were gravid first because another member stated their female had been off food for a month before its ovy. But thanks anyways for getting me the correct knowledge:)

Female can go of feed very early on during breeding season or eat all the way to ovy and some rare ones will eat after they ovulate as well, this has nothing to do with them being gravid ;)
