temp problems

we have a baby/juvenile make pastel ball... Now summer temps are here the room we keep him in don't drop below 85 at night.and all we use is heat mat.... and it gets about89 during the day ..should we put him in our bedroom to get the proper temp drop at night or do you think 89 during the day and 85 at night is alright

Night drops are unnecessary.

You don't need to (and in my opinion shouldn't) drop the temps at night at all
