    Oh HAPPY day!!
    My male pastel (who's clutch just hatched last week) ended his feeding strike tonight. 190 days or 6.3 months. He lost 171 grams.

    I am one happy snake-momma tonight!! :banana::banana::banana:

    Congrats and breathe.

    We know they do it, but everytime you start to think, this time its different and something is wrong. Then they start back up eating just to remind you, "Hey, I'm a ball python."

    That is cause for celebration! Even though you knew he would eventually eat again, there's nothing like that moment when he finally does! My firefly is back on feed again, it was not as long as your feeding strike but it's a darn good feeling. I'm glad they are in the break-fast club. . . Bad pun, but appropriate :P

    I'm currently feeling that right now. Just waiting to see when and if he will eat up again. Last year, I got the ball rolling with a live mouse. Seemed to have worked, and he ate like a pig. Then Union called, apparently the job is too "dangerous" and now is on his strike..
