Normally humidity should be between 40%-60%, but during shed it should be between 60%-80%

They can see like we do with their eyes, but they can also see infrared radiation (heat) with their heat pits, and smells with their Jacobson's organ.

I don't think that they can sense fear...

You'll get some varied answers to this question, but I like to keep my tubs at 55%-60% on a daily basis. When I see a snake getting ready to go into shed, I change to a larger water bowl and bump my humidity up to 65%-70% until the shed is complete.

I don't know if they can sense fear, but I do think that if you don't handle the snake with confidence, they can tell. Having said that, I don't think all of them will act any differently just because of it.

How BP's see is an interesting subject. The heat pits that run along their upper lip are very sensitive, so they can see in a type of heat vision. I'm not sure anyone really knows if or how they merge what they see with their eyes with what they "see" with their heat pits.

Definately handling with confidence will make a difference. Especially if they are a tempermental one. Normal humidity in my tubs is between 50-60. When I notice a shed coming I move water bowl over heat source and that gets it to 70 something.
