Leopard het piebald?

We bought this boy as a Het piebald back in 2007 before much was known about the leopard morph. This is the second season we have bred him and the Het pied he was paired with is actually laying eggs as I type this. The Het piebald female was a slow grower and her first year only gave us 4 eggs of which only 1 hatched that we really did not pay much attention too as it was a normal (66% PH Pied) male as far as we were concerned. This year I have been looking at him a little more and his pattern is definately not normal. I started looking through the existing morphs and noticed what I believe to be some of the traits a Leopard has, but again it is my animal and I am partial and would like to think my animals all have something more than they do even if they don't. With that said I thought I would put it up in front of an impartial group and see what their opinions are. Also in 60 days when the clutch he sired hatches I might have a better idea if his pattern is passed on.

I'm not seeing anything to suggest Leopard.

I am close friends with a breeder who works with them, and trust me, in person they are unmistakeable.

Yours looks to be just a really nice normal het Pied. The pattern variation on "normal" balls is unbelievable, and yes we all want our snakes to be something special. I'm guilty of it as well.

I'd really like to see pictures of his offspring in 60 days. If he does have something going on, they'll let you know.
