Anyone Heard the Terry Thompson Conspiracy Yet?
So I ran across a couple of vids on Youtube with people claiming the HSUS were the ones that released all of Terry Thompson's animals and murdered him. Seems to have small following.

One guy that actually owns an animal sanctuary says HSUS sent a plant to work for him and then when he was away staged a video of "abuse"

I am more inclined to believe the latter than then killing someone to push an agenda.

    What do you guys think?

I don't think it went down like that, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I don't know about Terry, it was tragic that is true, but I'm not sure I would go that far.

I will say, you have no idea how low HSUS will stoop.

Years ago, a small pet shop in my hometown hired a HSUS agent as well. This person also staged "abuse and neglect" videos for the HSUS at their demand.

Unfortunately for them, the owner had his own hidden cameras installed in the store, and his security video showed the HSUS person deliberately sabotaging things. Was a pretty ugly mess way back then. Lawsuits, jail time for the agent, I don't remember what all. Pity they didn't shut them down back then.

I said something similar when it all happened. Why would a OWNER have to cut through gates, fences or locks? Why cut a fence when he could open a gate? Someone who is suicidal shouldn't be making extra unneeded work for themselves.

The whole thing seemed extremely fishy and didn't add up. When you realize too, the "sheriff" or whatever he is managed to have all his pals show up immediately with private firearms to shoot everything, including animals in their cages and I believe 4 week old cubs... it doesn't smell likely to be a owner-release and suicide. They also declared it a suicide before they'd had time to investigate anything.

I wouldn't be surprised at anything that AR extremists do. COuld be an independent, a PETA, a HSUS or ALF type groupie.

I agree that it seems really fishy... without evidence, I'm not willing to say that I think that they did... but as others have said I wouldn't put it past them

I would be more willing to believe it could have been a rouge actor, than an organizational effort.

The one thing these guys clain that seems most fishy to me, if true, is that supposedly he was found with his pants down and his nuts cuts off. If that's true, then I can't be on the suicide train.

And neither would the local law enforcement. You can't cover that up during an autopsy.

While there's no connection between HSUS and what happened in Ohio, the involvement of some of their leadership in other actions and events (such as recruiting for a FBI designated terrorist organization, publishing the home address of an innocent family and encouraging violence, "glorifying direct criminal action against animal-rights targets", etc) have been well documented on HumaneWatch.org.

I don't think they had anything to do with it but that's more from lack of evidence then from a viewpoint that some in their organization aren't capable of such an act.

But you can buy off the doctor easy enough. Same with 5-0. Lots of crooked cops out there. :gj:

I too have found the whole situation a little sketchy from day one. Nothing really adds up.
