    Messed Up little guy
here i have my champ male and i dont know what he has. he had a lump on his cheek that i noticed one day while cleaning his tub. i did not think much of it till the next day when it looks like it popped or something. not his eye looks way sunk in and im 50% sure he will lose that eye it just does not look right. i sended pics to two of my buddies and one did not know what he was seeing the other said was maybe that he was rubbing around that spot and might have done something to himself? i dont know of any good vet close to where i live. i asked my dog vet and she does not know a vet that works with reptiles so im stuck or if i make a very long drive to one which is hard thanks to work and my crappy car. so if anyone know of one close to me or know what he has please help thanks

    and sorry for bad pics

With those pictures it is hard to tell but it loos like rubbing to me. I have a male who has a huge lump on the top of his nose from rubbing on his tub. Not much you can do abotu it other than try to fix it so hes not rubbing.

Nose rubbing can cause a callous in the form of a lump, but with so much swelling going on it may be more serious. Perhaps an abscess? If you can't find a vet, might you be able to find some large-scale breeder or expert that could examine the snake firsthand and give you their take on it?

Yikes. Looks similar to a issue one of my big females had a few months ago: found out she was rubbing herself in her tub and inflaming her upper lip and causing it to swell up (might have broke a tooth too but we were never sure: everything cleared up). Here's some pics for you to compare:

I had to take her to the vet who recommended twice daily diluted Betadine swabs to the area (ie inside the mouth along the tooth line on that swollen side) and warm compresses to the side twice daily as well (exterior compresses). She also got three shots of Baytril to fight any infection (looked like she broke a tooth off possibly). She cleared up and even after she re-swollen herself up a few weeks after her vet visits it cleared within a few days of the same swobbing and compressing. She's now perfectly fine and feeding great on live rats after going off feed during treatment.

I would recommend finding a good vet (even if you need to barrow someone's car to get there) because your snake really needs to see someone knowledgeable and herp vet certified IMO. How does the inside of his mouth look? Anything cheesy in there?
