    New here
My name's Erin, and I'm relatively new here. I'm hoping to get my first ball python in the next month or so.
I've loved herps since before I can remember. Literally my first memory is of a toad hopping onto a picnic blanket I was playing on when I was two or so. I caught my first snake when I was four, and have been in love with them ever since.
My main hobby is actually the cultivation of carnivorous plants, so if anyone's interested in growing those, give me a shout, and I'll provide any info that I can.

Welcome Erin! You'll love it here. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want before acquiring you new pet.
Carnivorous plants are sweet. When i get more space id love to grow some. Id like to get into leopard geckos eventually too so any extra insects could go to the venus fly trap and pitcher plants lol.:D

Hello Erin from another Erin. You picked a great community to join- these people are awesome! Other than reptiles and tarantulas I grow orchids (its tricky in a cool place like Washington). I have the miniature and dwarf species that depend upon specific species of insects to pollinate in the wild. I don't have any carnivorous but most of the other people in my orchid society have them- they have some of the most colorful and amazing flowers! Well met and welcome:D

PS make sure you get us pictures of the BP when he/she comes!
