    After eggs cutting question!
So I cut my eggs at day 53rd of incubating, and out of 6 eggs 5 of them you can clearly see the snake, but 1 is not visible very good - there is some kind of greyish / brownish something over the baby. Is it ok, or should I do something? It's my first time breeding.
Under this thing I can see the baby (I think it's moving ;p).
    Any ideas ?

i wouldnt mess with it bein when you cut eggs i cut mine yesterday at day 49 they were dimpling too much the baby has to be mature enough to breath air and if you puncture the embriotic sac too early you can kill the baby i would just leave it alone and wait till it pokes its head out im sure its fine i have one like that it just isnt big like the others

Did you cut any of the veins when you cut that egg? Have you tried flushing it out with water the same temps as the egg? to see if the stain is evenly spread or a patch of bacteria or something?

How long is it since you cut these eggs?

ETA - looking at the cloudy egg pic I wonder if it didn't die earlier before you cut and is in the process of decaying - those veins look awfully thin and faint.

You can't kill the baby by cutting the membrane - but you can make it a lot easier for infections, fungus etc to get in.

Picture was taken few minutes after cutting the egg. I didn't try to flush it - should I? And how exactly should I do it not to harm the baby? I didn't cut any veins - at least no blood at all ;).

    Hi,

I keep a water sprayer in the incubator and just gently spray into the egg. I also use cotton buds if there is anything I see that needs removing like substrate, fungus etc.

Are you sure the snake inside is moving ok? Does it seem the same size as the rest?

Ok, I made a bit bigger cut, and I gently tried to move this cloudy thing, and I believe it's an egg yolk! Because when I moved it a bit to the side, I discovered a healthy looking baby, actually having it's face right underneath this egg yolk. Will it be ok?
It's moving and looks great overall!
