i've hand picked a solid blue gtp. but after transportation it turns majority green.

There are a few different types of blue GTP's

    Some stay blue

And Some females only turn blue during their breeding cycle.

My guess is that the blue is not your GTP's normal

What is the sex? Females can turn blue when being cycled for breeding. Some turn back and some don't. I don't know what you paid for it, but blue line animals start at around $3500 for a hatchling from a potent pairing....with no guarantee of a blue adult. Solid blue adults can range for
$2000+ for an import, up to $10k+ for animals with any sort of proven lineage.

If you have a male, I would ask for a refund. The only males I have seen change color are the kaufia locales. They will go from green to yellowish from day to day. Post a before and after pic if you have them.

    Good luck.

GTP's need sturdy/stationary perches. Wires aren't a good idea... What type of cage are you using?

That makes things difficult. Could you suspend the perches by wire, but hot glue the ends to the sides of the cage so they stay stationary?

If not I would build something like this, it is cheap and easy.
