For a second I thought you said you'd get half of a puppy. :O Glad that's not the case LOL!

Sorry, I'm not on Facebook anymore, but I wish you luck! Just keep in mind that most pet shop puppies come from puppy mills and are likely to develop huge behavioral problems when they mature. It might be worth shopping around some shelters first, imo.

Sorry but i dont support buying puppies from pet stores like that. Let the girl win it, dump it in a shelter within 6 months, and then you can adopt it for free.

Agreed. I do not in any way, shape, or form support pet shop puppies AT ALL. In fact, I think pet stores should not even be allowed to sell puppies.

Try www.petfinder.com I've seen some cute puppies in my area. The plus side is you're adopting! Though when my dogs pass on I plan on adopting an older dog but I know the appeal of a puppy. But I want take in a dog that might otherwise be put down and is already potty trained.

I have to agree with everyone else on this one. There is a pet store right down the road from where I live. I won't even by my feeders from them because of the fact that they sell puppies. They live in such disgusting conditions and I do not condone buying a puppy or kitten from a pet store.

Off topic, but I am a bit surprised at the overall tone of the responses given here.

I understand not supporting facebook or puppymills, but for some reason am just surprised.

Its the internet so i think the tone is seeming hateful whens its really not that extreme. My comment was more of a harsh sarcastic comment even though after re-reading it i can see how it looks like im saying, "you suck and if you buy from petstores then you suck even more." Im not trying to say that at all, it was genuine sarcasm at its finest. Just one of my many skills ;)

When someone blatantly asks for help supporting puppy mills and stores that cram our incredible companions into fetid cages that are too small for bunnies, they are going to have to expect some negative responses.
