    Best sellers/can't pass it up
So looking though the how much have you paid for a morph thread got me thinking; what are your guys best sellers? Single gene animals or expensive combos?

Then that question got me thinking again (I was bored today I guess =P)
What can't you pass up when you run into it?

I personally haven't produced yet but things I just have to stop and drool over are pretty much anything bright yellow =P desert combos, bumblebees, and the likes. I REALLY want a buzz! Definitely on the top of the list of things I would want if I won the lotta haha!

Im a fan of darker morphs like cinnies and mojos, and anything hypo. If im lucky my pair of cinnies will make a super cinny for me next year :please:
If i can do that ill be pretty satisfied for awhile. After that i would like to get a mojo or hypo, or a combo of them. and then work my way towards getting phantoms to make purple passions. Thats farrrr off in the future though haha.

When I saw my Pastel I HAD TO HAVE HER! $200 asked if the guy would knock a few bucks off the price and he lowered it to $150. I got her the next day haha.

I know a guy who is going to sell me a male Bumble Bee hatchling for $250 I think thats a hell of a deal !! Once I heard that Im like SOLD! haha just gotta wait for the little boogers to hatch.

Im sure best sellers are like high white pieds. Everyone wants a pied and they are like $1000+ for one.

Oh! I forgot about the darker morphs! Lol as you can see I have a hard time choosing favorites haha!

Thats an awesome deal on a bee! The one I was looking at got sold... =| I'm getting married in a month and a half so I'm not really suppose to be spending money till after that but sometimes you just gotta roll the dice =D hahaha!

I've been producing Pied for 8 years. It's been a couple of years since I've seen $1000+ unless it's a nice high white female. Pieds have dropped considerably in the last 4-5 years. In 2006 they were selling out at $3500-4000. Now you can find low white males for as little as $450....which I consider a good thing.

I agree with you on that one. I havent seen a pied male at an expo for more than $650 in the past few expos. Why are you happy that theyre going down in price so much?

When morphs plateau and become more affordable, more are sold. I sold about 30 pieds last year. My last clutch hatched in december and I was sold out of those in just a few weeks. I only did one show last year and didn't have anything available at the show. Get'em hooked with a well-priced pied and they will return for a combo or several combos. ;) I think pieds will hit their bottom dollar price in the next year or two....at least I hope. I paid $4k for my hets in 2003.

I saw two very nice high white Pieds yesterday in Orlando for $850. Saw some poss Leopard Pieds and a couple Pastel Pieds for $1500 each and saw a smokin' Spied for $2000. All of those snakes were males.

Looks to me like the Pied market is swinging toward animals with multiple genes. I see that as a natural progression and similar to what happend to single gene co-doms once those genetics became common in multi gene animals...just at a different price point.

Enchi is like the new Lesser. We used to say everything looks better with Lesser, and now we say the same thing about Enchi.

I don't think I've seen a female Enchi for sale since...ah, actually, I can't remember the last time I saw a nice Enchi female for sale.
