probably something you should have already had ready but... Take a cooler, put in some heat tape, connect it to a thermostat, put probe into incubator, set temp at 87-89, line it with water bottles, let it heat up, put eggs in tub, put tub in incubator. can also use another thermostat to check temps within the tub. goodluck and congrats:gj:

Build a time machine and go back to before you started pairing then get prepared! I've never used them but hova-bator seems to be a popular choice for one needing an incubator on the spot.

Dont people do natural incubation all the time? If so, why would it hurt for me to use her incubating her eggs until I get the cooler set up?

incubators give you the best chance for success. too many clutches are lost to maternal incubation. I'm not saying you can't be successful with maternal incubation, but it's too difficult to maintain a specific ambient temperature, which you need for eggs.
Goodluck..
I'm not trying to be "that guy," but you should have researched all of this before you decided to breed.

Of course they can take care of the eggs themselves and it probably wont hurt them any to wait a couple days until you get an incubator. That is of course assuming that all of the conditions within your tank are right for eggs which they most likely are not. Its just better to plan ahead:gj:

Get a hovabator at your local feed store. Considering you werent prepared for the eggs, Id suggest that you start researching how to care for hatchlings now.

Here is a link to the Hatchling Care sticky. Hatchling Care
It doesn't cover everything but it's a good start.
