    Separate gradients on one thermostat?
Is there a thermostat that I can program gradients for 2 different heat mats? I live in a basement and have to have a pad on both the cool end and the hot end of my tub. My mats are currently on dimmers but they have been showing signs of starting to fail and I am in need of a thermostat. Is there one unit that can control both my hot and cool mats?

Yes there are 4 companies (I know of) that sell multiple probed T-stats The herpstat 2 from spyder robotics (my pick personally) http://spyderrobotics.com/home/products.html

The Ecozone it has a few more features (web reporting!!) and has more variety but is pricy (as the components are separate) http://ecozonevivarium.com/products-...ntrollers.aspx

The herpkeeper by digital aquatics this is a very flexible unit but it has confusing parts and lots of variations. (addable components. I have only seen the fish keeper I have never touched a herpkeeper) http://www.digitalaquatics.com/herpetology/systems

The VE300x2 this one has the least amount of features it is simplistic compared to the others. http://www.vivariumelectronics.com/

    Herpstat 2

    VE-300X2

These are the only ones I know of but I can't offer how they do as I haven't used one yet.

The herpstat was the one I was looking at but wanted to make sure that it could keep 2 different temps. Thanks for the suggestions?

Edit: didn't mean to put the ? At the end

    The Serpent Merchant
The herpstat 2 is like having 2 completely separate herpsat 1's in a single box, they have their own probes, their own outlets, and can be set independently.

The herpstat 4 is like having 4 herpstat 1's in a single box.

Nice. That was the impression I got from reading the specs. Methinks there will be one in my future. As soon as I have some extra money. Thanks so much for all your input

Personally the only other one I would look at is the Eco zone. The web reporting interface is a valuable addition the price however is quite a lot sadly.
