Is it possible or ok to use this type of system?
Just wondering if anyone has a setup like this one?
pic from google link at very bottom. I just got a few of these, as my neighbour moved out, and left them for grabs. If not, I can use them to store rat food, shavings etc...

If you are able to, what is the safe way to run flex watt with separating the lower drawer to the upper drawer (not to cause damage to either snake)?

    Thanks everyone.

No, they are easily escapable, flimsy, and cause uneven heat. There's multiple threads on those...

I think they'd definitely be much more practical for storing supplies, like you said. :)

I'm afraid they're not suitable for holding animals. They are super great for storage though, I have quite a few of them around my house :)

I tried putting 2 rats in those bins before. They chewed through it the first night. >_<

I actually bought that for my first rack. Although the plan was from the begining to just use the drawers. I pulled them out and shaved off the little catch tab on each then built a melamine rack to put them in. It works great and since you can see through the tubs rather easily it's nice for viewing also. The only problem I had was I didn't build it deep enough so the tubs came right to the edge. I solved that with a hinge and a piece of melanine from a storage unit I was getting rid of.
