Summer is finally here! (Our latest acquisition)
We rent half of a duplex owned by my in-laws. Yall should have seen my 5 year old brother in law flipping out when they came home and he saw I was building this in the back yard for all of us to enjoy.

It is bad enough for me waiting for it to fill up and warm up and I'm an adult. I know the wait must be 10 times worse for my brother in law being a kiddo. It should be ready for use by this weekend. Woot!

Yeah, there is almost a 16 year difference between my wife and her little brother.

The pool is almost full now. I'm tempted to try it out tonight, but I know that water is ice cold.

Yeah, I've acclimated to the weather down here quite a bit. We moved to the lower 48 a couple years ago from Alaska, so we know all about ice and cold weather. We've had enough of that crap. I'm not sure my heart would be able to handle super cold water these days. Don't wanna shock myself too much and go into cardiac arrest.

Ahh some days I miss having a pool because I cant jump into the ice cold. Ever since the fire I just turn the cold on full and have a ice cold bath haha. nothing like a ice cold shower either.
