    My bp is a little to big for his hide it lifts off the ground when hes in it lol. But the next size up is too big for him so should i still use the smaller 1 or the bigger 1

    When mine get too small for a hide, I just go with the next size larger and let them grow into it. With established eaters, it's never been an issue.

    I do use a tub and rack system, so for me it's like putting a hide inside a hide, so if you're using a tank, you might have different results.

    If you try a larger hide and your snake stops eating, you can always go back to the smaller one and save the larger hide for later.

    Hes in a pvc enclosure ive never had eating trouble either. U put both in together after i posted this and ke keeps goin to the small one so im just going to use that for now

    That's understandable. Some BPs like to wear their hide like a hat. It's really funny when more of them is out of the hide than is inside the hide, but they still think they're hiding :D

    Yeah, some of mine love to squeeze in even if they are too fat to do so. This is especially apparent after a meal, when the hide they could squeeze into before becomes a bit too small.
